I travel between Java and Bali a lot and Telkomsel is the only operator that keeps a strong signal the whole way, even in rural areas. The 4G is fast enough for video calls anywhere and the MyTelkomsel app makes buying packages dead easy. Genuinely the best in Indonesia.
Telkomsel has kept me connected reliably for years and the speeds in the city are great. I'm happy overall and the package options suit different budgets. My one gripe is the MyTelkomsel app is cluttered with promo banners that make it harder to find what I need.

Coverage and call quality with Telkomsel are consistently good and I've never been let down when travelling for work. The signing-up process was painless. I'd happily give five stars if the data bundles weren't a bit on the expensive side compared to the smaller players.
