We needed a fast freight quote for a time-sensitive order and Flexport took several days to come back, by which point the opportunity had nearly passed. The platform looks polished but the human turnaround behind it didn't match the urgency we needed. Expected quicker responsiveness from a self-styled digital forwarder.

Our container got rolled to a later sailing and Flexport's notification came far too late for us to react, leaving a retail customer short on stock. The platform is slick but a delay that disruptive should have triggered a proactive call, not a quiet status change. Disappointing for something we were paying a premium for.
Flexport has handled our trans-Pacific shipments reliably and the supply-chain analytics genuinely help us plan inventory better. The customs team knows their stuff. My only gripe is the platform has a lot of features and it took our small team a while to get comfortable navigating everything.
The Flexport dashboard is genuinely the best I've used for tracking international freight and the data is detailed. That said, the quotes come in noticeably higher than traditional forwarders we've used. The technology is impressive but I'm still weighing whether the visibility justifies the cost for our volume.

Flexport completely changed how we manage imports, the platform shows exactly where every container is and flags delays before they become problems. Our coordinator is responsive and the customs handling has been flawless across multiple shipments. For a growing importer the transparency alone is worth it.
