The HiNet fibre broadband has been brilliant for working from home with rock-solid uptime. Setting up the account involved more forms and ID checks than I expected though, which slowed things down. Once connected, no complaints at all about the actual service.
Solid fibre uptime
Bureaucratic sign-up
You really do get what you pay for with Chunghwa Telecom, the network quality is the best on the island and support is responsive. My only minor grumble is that plans cost a bit more than smaller competitors. For the reliability though, I think it's worth it.
Top network quality, good support
Pricier than rivals
Been a Chunghwa Telecom customer for years and the network has never let me down on calls or data. Billing is transparent and predictable. The only thing I'd improve is the account app, which feels dated and is a bit fiddly to navigate. Service itself, top marks.
Dependable network, clear billing
Dated app interface
Chunghwa Telecom's coverage reaches even the mountain roads where every other carrier drops out, which matters when you cycle around the island like I do. The fibre at home is gigabit and never falters. Easily the most reliable telecom I've used in Taiwan.
Unmatched coverage, gigabit fibre
We moved our entire household onto Chunghwa Telecom and it's been faultless, fast 5G on every phone and a fibre line that handles four people streaming at once. The bundle discount made it affordable too. Support answered my setup question within minutes on chat.
Handles heavy household use, good bundle
