Where CenturyLink fiber is available it's fantastic, fast and stable. The problem is my street only qualifies for the older DSL, which is noticeably slower in the evenings. I'm genuinely torn because the fiber is excellent but my actual service is just okay.

The CenturyLink connection itself does what I need for everyday browsing and calls. Customer support is where it gets uneven, sometimes I get a quick fix and other times I'm bounced between departments. It works fine but the experience isn't always smooth.
CenturyLink fiber gives me symmetrical gigabit speeds that make my work uploads instant, and I haven't had a single dropout in months. The flat lifetime pricing means no nasty surprises on the bill. As a Lumen broadband customer I'm thoroughly impressed.

I signed up for CenturyLink's fixed-rate plan and love that my bill hasn't crept up like with every other provider I've used. Fiber speeds are solid for working from home and streaming. The only minor downside is that their app feels a bit basic compared to competitors.

App feels basic
After years of slow DSL, getting CenturyLink fiber installed was a big improvement, and the technician was on time and tidy. Speeds are exactly as advertised and uptime has been good. I only wish the online account portal were a little more modern.
