I fly Air Canada often between Vancouver and Montreal and it is dependable. Boarding is well organised and the staff are courteous. The only minor letdown is that the WiFi cut out a few times mid-flight, but for a domestic hop it was perfectly fine overall.

Air Canada really impressed on my Toronto to Tokyo flight. The signature business seat was spacious, the crew were genuinely kind, and the meal service felt elevated. They even helped me rebook a tight connection without any fuss. A flag carrier doing things right.

My Air Canada flight out of Calgary was delayed nearly four hours with vague updates and a gate change that was barely announced. I missed my connection and rebooking took ages at the desk with no meal voucher offered. The fleet is fine but disruption handling needs serious work.
Delay with poor communication and no assistance
Excellent business cabin and crew
Air Canada took me from Toronto to Frankfurt and the flight was excellent. The Dreamliner cabin was quiet, the crew checked in regularly, and the dinner was tasty with a decent wine list. Everything ran on schedule and my bag was waiting promptly. Could not have asked for more.
Comfortable aircraft and on-time arrival
No complaints about the actual flying with Air Canada, it is the largest airline here for a reason. Seats were clean and the crew were friendly on my route. The app, however, was clunky when I tried to check in and kept freezing, so I ended up at the kiosk instead.
