Adyen's processing is genuinely powerful and the uptime has been excellent for our online transactions. The flip side is that it's clearly built for larger merchants, so the integration and the dashboard have a real learning curve. We get great results now, but smaller teams should know it takes engineering effort to get there.
Robust processing, reliable uptime
Steep learning curve for smaller teams
Adyen consolidated our online, mobile and in-store payments into a single platform and the difference has been night and day. Authorization rates improved noticeably after we moved over, and having unified reporting across regions saves our finance team hours every week. Their technical onboarding team clearly knew payments inside out.
Unified global payments, higher auth rates, strong onboarding
Since switching our checkout to Adyen, our approval rates on card payments climbed and chargebacks became easier to manage with their risk tools. The single integration covering cards, wallets and local payment methods across the countries we sell in has been a huge simplification. Settlement reporting is clear and on time every cycle.
High approval rates, broad payment method support, clean reporting
Adyen has been instrumental as we expanded into new markets, supporting local payment methods we'd never have integrated on our own. In-store and online transactions flow through the same platform, so reconciliation is finally painless. Their team proactively flagged optimizations that lifted our conversion. Exactly what an enterprise payments provider should be.
Local payment methods, unified in-store and online, proactive support
Adyen handles our high transaction volume reliably and the platform itself is excellent. Where I'm genuinely on the fence is support: routine questions get answered, but a couple of more complex settlement queries took longer to resolve than I'd like for an enterprise contract. Great technology, support consistency is the open question.
