The 23andMe experience was smooth overall and the health and ancestry reports were genuinely eye-opening, especially the genetic trait explanations. Registering the kit was simple. The only downside was that processing took closer to five weeks, longer than the estimate, and the emails didn't keep me well informed during the wait.

The interface is beautiful, the explanations are accessible, and the ongoing ancestry timeline feature kept me engaged for hours. Money well spent.
