Does the job, minor ad annoyance on free

Great for occasional large attachments that email won't take. Setting up a transfer takes seconds and the download page loads fast for recipients. The full-screen background ads on the free version can be a little distracting but they're never intrusive enough to make me switch.

Reliable workhorse with a small catch

I send proofs to print clients and this has never garbled a file or failed on me. The recipient experience is friction-free and the download confirmation emails help me chase up slow clients. The only thing that nags me is that the free tier's one-week expiry means I have to remind people to grab their files promptly.

Lost an important transfer with zero recovery option

Sent a critical 4GB project to a client and the link expired before they downloaded it, with no way to re-share or recover the original without re-uploading the whole thing. The auto-deletion on the free plan gives barely any warning and there's no grace period. For something marketed as a delivery tool, having files vanish like this cost me a deadline and a frustrated client.

Easy but the upsell nudges add up

Functionally it does everything I need and the uploads are quick. But the constant prompts to upgrade to Pro, plus the storage cap on free transfers, make the free experience feel a bit limited the moment you do anything serious. It's good enough that I keep using it, yet not quite generous enough that I've committed to paying.

Dead simple way to send big design files

I send 2GB Photoshop and video files to clients almost daily and the link-based sharing just works without anyone needing to make an account. Upload speeds are solid on my fibre connection and the email notification when someone downloads is genuinely useful. Only gripe is the free tier auto-deletes after a week, so I've had a couple of clients miss the window.

The speed is excellent, the link sharing is instant, and the password protection plus expiry control on Pro give me exactly the security I need for client deliverables. Whenever a file is too chunky for email this is the first thing I reach for. The link generates instantly and works on mobile just as well as desktop, which matters since I'm often sending from my phone on site. Wish the mobile app felt a touch more polished, but it gets the job done every time.

Solid for sending files to my team in India

We use it to share large CAD drawings between our Pune and Bangalore offices and it handles the size limits better than email ever could. Download speeds for my colleagues are consistently good even on slower connections. Would have given 5 stars but I really wish there was a proper UPI payment option for the Pro upgrade instead of only cards.
