We Work Remotely is one of the few boards where every single role is genuinely remote, which saved me so much time. I found and accepted a position through it within a month. My only minor gripe is the design is pretty bare-bones and search filters could be more granular.
Truly all-remote listings
Basic search and dated design
After scrolling endless 'remote (must be in office 3 days)' nonsense elsewhere, We Work Remotely was a relief. Every listing is the real deal and I found my current fully remote role through it. Simple, fast, and trustworthy β exactly what a remote job seeker needs.
100% authentic remote listings
We Work Remotely clearly has huge traffic, and I did get applicants. The catch is the listing fee felt steep and I was buried in unqualified applications from people who hadn't read the role. Good visibility, but the lack of filtering tools made sorting through everyone a real chore.
High traffic and visibility
Pricey and weak applicant filtering
I check We Work Remotely weekly and it consistently has real, fully remote openings rather than hybrid roles in disguise. The categories make it easy to jump straight to dev jobs. I'd love a way to save searches and get instant alerts, but otherwise it does the job well.
Genuine remote roles, easy categories
No saved-search alerts
We Work Remotely does have legitimate remote jobs, and I appreciate that. But the platform itself hasn't evolved much β no profiles, no application tracking, just a list and a link out. It works, yet it feels like it's coasting on reputation rather than improving the experience.
Legitimate remote listings
Stagnant, feature-light platform
