I've been with Vodafone for a couple of years now and the mobile service has been consistently good with strong signal and fair data allowances. The one thing that keeps it from five stars is that contacting support can mean a long wait before reaching a person. Otherwise, a solid provider.
Consistent signal, fair data allowance
Long support wait times
I terminated my Vodafone contract within the notice period and confirmed it in writing, yet payments kept coming out of my account for months afterward. Every call to support ended with assurances that nothing changed. Chasing my own money like this has been exhausting and unacceptable.
Charged for months after cancellation
Travelling across Europe on Vodafone was effortless, my plan included roaming at no extra cost and I had fast data the moment I landed in each country. Calls were clear and I never had to hunt for a local SIM. For a frequent traveller this is exactly what I want from a network.
Excellent inclusive roaming, fast data abroad
Vodafone's coverage and data have been dependable for my daily commute and streaming. My only real gripe is the account app, which can be slow to load my usage and occasionally needs a re-login. The core service is good enough that I'm sticking with them.
Dependable coverage and data
Slow, glitchy account app
Vodafone gives me reliable mobile coverage in most places I go and data speeds are usually fine. The recurring annoyance is the billing, which has applied charges I didn't expect more than once. I'm torn because the network is decent but the account side needs serious work.
Reliable coverage, decent speeds
Unexpected billing charges
