Viettel's prepaid data is some of the cheapest around and yet the coverage stretches to my home village where I assumed I'd get nothing. Speeds in Hanoi are quick too. The only small annoyance is that topping up at smaller shops sometimes takes a while to reflect.

The Viettel network itself is solid and the prices are fair, so on connectivity I have no complaints. The mobile app, however, is buggy and frequently fails to load my balance or apply promotions I've activated. Great service let down by clunky digital tools, so I'm torn.

Viettel keeps me connected reliably wherever I go and the data packages are genuinely affordable for what you get. The signal even in the countryside is impressive. The only downside is that the physical stores get very busy and I waited ages to register a new SIM.

For the price, Viettel is excellent value and the 4G has been fast and stable for streaming. I'm happy with the network itself. My one gripe is that when I had a billing question, the support line kept transferring me before someone finally helped. Worth it overall.

Support transfers you around
I work in construction and travel to remote sites constantly, and Viettel is the only network that holds a signal where others show nothing. The data is cheap, calls are crystal clear and the app makes managing my plan simple. Could not ask for more from a carrier.
