The Volvo influence in VECV trucks is obvious the moment you sit in the cabin. Power delivery is smooth, the gearbox is forgiving on hilly routes, and the after-sales team actually picks up the phone. We have recommended VECV to two other transporters in our network.

We run a few Eicher Skyline buses for our school route and the build quality from VECV is reassuring. Passengers find the ride comfortable and the cabin is well laid out for the driver. Knocked off a star because the dealer takes too long to schedule annual maintenance.

Our two Eicher Pro trucks from VECV have clocked over a lakh km without any major breakdown, and the mileage is genuinely better than our older vehicles. Service network in the north is decent. Only gripe is that spare part delivery to smaller towns can take a couple of extra days.

Switched our entire mid-haul fleet to Eicher Pro trucks from VECV last year and the running cost dropped noticeably. The telematics package helps me track every vehicle in real time and the drivers love the AC cabins. Resale value is also holding up well. Genuinely impressed with the whole package.
Low running cost, great telematics
VECV makes a capable commercial vehicle and the Volvo-Eicher pairing shows in the engineering. That said, our experience with on-road breakdown assistance has been inconsistent depending on the region. When it works it is great, when it does not you are left waiting for hours.
