Truecaller has become non-negotiable on my phone. The number it shows for unknown callers is almost always accurate, and the spam tagging catches those fake loan and KYC scam calls before I even pick up. The automatic SMS spam filtering is a bonus I didn't expect to love this much.

Truecaller does its core job of identifying callers well, and I rely on it for filtering spam. But the constant push to upgrade to Premium and the banner ads after every call get tiring. It's a genuinely helpful app buried under a bit too much monetisation.

Truecaller is the first app I install on any new phone because identifying unknown numbers in India is a must. It works smoothly and the spam list is impressively up to date. My only gripe is that the free experience feels a little cluttered with promotions.

I get a lot of calls from delivery agents and clients I haven't saved, and Truecaller names them correctly nine times out of ten. The community-driven spam reporting genuinely works here where scam calls are constant. The call recording and caller history features are surprisingly handy too.
