I booked The Maids expecting their team-cleaning system to be thorough, but the crew was in and out in under an hour and skipped baseboards, the inside of the microwave, and one whole bathroom. For what I paid, this was nowhere near the deep clean that was promised. Very disappointing.
Rushed, skipped agreed-upon areas
We've used The Maids for biweekly cleaning and overall they do a nice job, especially in the kitchen and bathrooms. The four-person team works fast and the house smells fresh after. My only nitpick is they sometimes wrap up a touch early, so I do a quick walk-through before they leave.
Booking with The Maids has been painless and the crews are friendly and efficient. The team approach means they're done quickly and the place looks great. I'd give five stars if the pricing for add-ons like oven cleaning weren't quite so high.
When The Maids sends our usual crew the house is spotless and they know exactly how we like things. The problem is consistency. A substitute team came last time and the quality dropped noticeably, missing spots the regulars never would. It's a bit of a gamble each visit.

The Maids sent a four-person team that tackled every room systematically and the difference was incredible. They got into corners I'd given up on, left the floors gleaming, and even arranged the throw pillows nicely. The team-based system really does cover everything.
