As someone with zero tech background, Teachable let me build and sell a cooking course without feeling overwhelmed. The drip-content scheduling and coupon tools are genuinely useful for running launches. I just wish the email marketing built in was a bit more powerful so I didn't need a separate tool.

Two of my course videos failed to process correctly on Teachable and students reported they couldn't play, which is mortifying when people have paid. Getting help took several days of back-and-forth before it was sorted. For a platform whose whole job is delivering course content reliably, that downtime was disappointing.
I have sold my marketing course through Teachable for over a year and the platform has been stable and dependable for hosting and student management. The built-in sales pages convert well. The one thing that bugs me is that transaction fees on the lower plans nibble at margins, so I eventually upgraded.
What sold me on Teachable is how polished the learning experience looks to my students, and the completion analytics help me see where people drop off. Setting up an order bump increased my revenue noticeably. The only nitpick is that customising the certificate of completion is fiddlier than it should be.

Teachable made putting my photography course online refreshingly simple, from uploading lessons to setting up the checkout. Payouts have been reliable and the student experience looks professional without any coding. My only minor gripe is that the page builder feels a bit rigid when I want custom layouts.
