Superhuman retrained how I handle email and I'm noticeably faster now. The onboarding session that taught me the shortcuts was a nice touch and the AI-assisted replies save time on routine messages. My only minor gripe is that the mobile app doesn't feel quite as magical as the desktop experience, but overall I'm happy.

I paid a steep monthly fee essentially for keyboard shortcuts and a polished skin over my existing inbox, and the value just wasn't there for me. When I tried to leave, exporting nothing and resetting back to a normal client was jarring because I'd built habits around features I no longer had. Far too expensive for what it actually does.
Very expensive for limited added functionality
I was enjoying the speed until Superhuman had a stretch where new mail wasn't pushing through reliably and I missed a couple of time-sensitive client messages. When email is the one thing a tool has to get right, that erodes trust quickly. The interface is lovely but I went back to a client I know will always show me my mail.
Unreliable mail syncing at times
Superhuman genuinely lives up to the hype for heavy email users like me. The keyboard shortcuts let me triage a hundred messages in the time it used to take for twenty, and split inbox keeps newsletters away from real work. Snooze, scheduled send and the read statuses have made me dramatically faster. My inbox zero is finally a daily reality.
Blazing-fast keyboard-driven workflow
There's no denying Superhuman is the snappiest email client I've used and the design is gorgeous. The problem is it only works smoothly with certain mail providers, so my secondary work account simply wouldn't connect properly. I'm torn: when it works it's a joy, but the limitations and the cost keep me from fully committing.
