There's no faulting SoftBank's actual coverage and data, both have been reliable for me. The mixed feeling comes from how cumbersome it was to change my plan and the contract terms that weren't obvious upfront. The service is good, but I wish the fine print were clearer.

SoftBank has given me fast, reliable service the entire time I've been in Japan. The 5G speeds are fantastic, the signal holds strong on the train, and the app makes managing my plan simple. When I had a billing question, support sorted it quickly. Highly recommend.

Getting set up with SoftBank as a new resident was surprisingly easy and the staff walked me through everything in English. The signal is strong everywhere I go in the city and data speeds are excellent for streaming and video calls. Really pleased with the whole experience.

I've been with SoftBank for a year and the mobile coverage and speeds have been dependable across Osaka. The store experience was helpful too. My only minor complaint is that the rewards and points system tied to the account is more confusing than it needs to be.

SoftBank's mobile data in Tokyo is genuinely fast and I rarely lose signal even underground. What leaves me torn is how complicated the plan structure is, with so many options and conditions that it's hard to know if I picked the right one. Great network, baffling pricing menu.
