SoFi has become my go-to for banking and investing because it bundles so much into one tidy app. The savings rate is great and transfers are quick. My only minor complaint is that finding certain settings buried in the menus took longer than it should have.

SoFi refinanced my student loans at a rate well below what I had and the application was honestly the easiest lending experience I've had. On top of that I moved my checking over and the high-yield savings has been paying out nicely every month. The member benefits and rate discounts for autopay sealed it for me.

I came to SoFi for a personal loan and the rate was competitive, plus having checking and investing under one roof is convenient. That said, the identity verification during signup kept looping and took two attempts over a couple of days. Once I was in, the experience improved, but that first impression was rough.
