Snowflake handles our growing analytics demands beautifully, scaling compute up for heavy month-end reporting and back down automatically. The SQL is familiar, onboarding new analysts is quick, and we've had essentially no downtime. A genuinely excellent platform for serious data work.
Elastic scaling, rock-solid uptime
Snowflake's separation of storage and compute is genuinely clever and queries run fast on huge datasets. The catch is that credit consumption is easy to underestimate, and a few badly-written queries from analysts ran up a scary bill. Great technology, but you need strict cost governance.

Snowflake became the single source of truth for our entire organisation. Analysts, data scientists, and BI tools all query the same governed warehouse with zero contention thanks to separate compute. Performance on multi-terabyte tables is outstanding and maintenance is basically zero. Couldn't be happier.

Migrating our analytics workloads to Snowflake dramatically cut our query times and the auto-scaling means we never worry about capacity. Sharing data securely across teams is a real strength. Only reason it's not five stars is the team took a while to learn the credit and warehouse-sizing model.
