Smartlook's mobile recordings have given us solid insight into where users drop off in our app onboarding. The web heatmaps are fine but feel less polished than dedicated web tools. It's a genuinely mixed experience: strong on mobile, average on web, depending on what you primarily need.

Having both our app and website behaviour in Smartlook under one roof has been great for spotting patterns across platforms. The recordings are smooth and the event tracking is flexible. My only minor complaint is that the pricing jumps quite a bit once you outgrow the starter tier.
Smartlook makes it easy to filter recordings down to the exact user journeys we want to study, which saves our product team a lot of time. The heatmaps are clear and load reliably. I'd give it five stars if the privacy masking setup were a touch more straightforward for first-timers.

The qualitative analytics in Smartlook helped us understand a confusing checkout step we couldn't crack with numbers alone. On the other hand, our session quota on the current plan runs dry well before month-end on busy weeks. Helpful tool, but the limits leave me genuinely torn about staying.

We use Smartlook for mobile app session recordings, and after a recent SDK update our recordings stopped saving entirely for over a week. The crash reports we relied on for debugging just vanished during a critical release. Support acknowledged the bug but the delay cost us real time chasing issues blind.
