Royal Caribbean's newest ship genuinely lives up to the hype with its variety of dining and activities, and we had a lovely time. The drinks and specialty restaurant packages do add up quickly, which is the main reason it's not a full five from me. Still highly recommend it.
Amazing ship with huge variety
Add-on packages are pricey
Royal Caribbean delivered a fantastic week for the whole family with endless activities and a great kids' programme. The dining and entertainment were top notch. My only grumble was the onboard app, which was glitchy when trying to book show times.
Loads of activities and great kids' programme
Onboard app was glitchy
A shore excursion I'd pre-paid through Royal Caribbean was cancelled on the day with barely any notice, and instead of a cash refund I was only offered onboard credit I couldn't fully use. Trying to resolve it at guest services led nowhere. A frustrating end to an otherwise pricey trip.
Cancelled excursion only refunded as unusable credit
Our Royal Caribbean sailing through the Caribbean was the holiday of a lifetime. The ship itself was an attraction, with the rock climbing wall, surf simulator and incredible shows, and every meal was excellent. The crew's attention to detail was second to none.
Spectacular ship and superb service
We had a wonderful Mediterranean itinerary with Royal Caribbean and the ship's facilities were superb. Embarkation day was the low point, with long queues that ate into the afternoon. Once on board, though, everything ran beautifully and the staff were excellent.
