Making my own flashcard decks on Quizlet and then drilling them with Match and the learning games turned dull memorisation into something I actually do. The mobile app syncs perfectly with the website so I can revise on the bus. Only wish the AI explanations were a little more reliable on niche subjects.

I leaned on Quizlet's community flashcard sets to study for a certification and discovered several had wrong definitions that nearly cost me on the exam. There is no easy way to know if a set is accurate before you trust it. The platform itself is fine, but relying on stranger-made decks burned me.
I used Quizlet for years to make flashcards, but features I relied on like Learn mode and offline access have been pushed behind Quizlet Plus. What used to be a free study staple now nags me to upgrade constantly. The flashcards still work, but the experience feels stripped down compared to before.

Community sets often contain errors
Quizlet's shared study sets are a lifesaver before exams, and the practice tests it generates from my flashcards are genuinely useful for self-testing. On the free plan, though, the ads and upgrade prompts break my concentration. It is a mixed bag: powerful content, cluttered experience.

Quizlet's practice tests and Learn mode helped me prep for my biology finals far better than rereading notes. Building a deck once and then studying it five different ways is the real strength. The free tier is limited now, but I found the premium practice-test feature genuinely worth the money during exam season.
