I switched to DITO mainly for the lower-priced data and in the city it's been great, fast and reliable. The moment I head to the province though, signal becomes spotty and I drop to no service. It's a genuine trade-off, so I'm sitting on the fence about it.
Affordable city data
Patchy provincial coverage
Some days my DITO connection is flawless and I get fantastic speeds for the money. Other days it crawls during peak hours and the app shows errors when I try to top up. The value is real but the consistency isn't there yet, which leaves me genuinely undecided.
Great value when it works
Inconsistent peak-hour speed
DITO's prices are very competitive and when the signal is strong the speeds are honestly impressive. But the network clearly still has gaps and I've had calls drop indoors more than I'd like. For the price I can live with it, but it's not yet a clear winner.
Competitive pricing, fast where covered
Dropped indoor calls
I was sceptical signing up but DITO has exceeded my expectations, the 5G in my area is blistering fast and the monthly cost is a fraction of what I used to pay. Customer support sorted my SIM activation quickly over chat. For a newer player this is seriously good.
Blazing 5G, very affordable
DITO has saved me a lot of money each month and the data speeds in Metro Manila are excellent for streaming and gaming. I'm a happy customer overall. My only ask is that they keep building out coverage, because outside the metro it's still hit or miss for me.
Big savings, strong metro speeds
Coverage thin outside the city
