I've had my Oppo for six months and it's been a reliable companion. The earbuds I bought alongside it pair instantly and sound clean. The phone feels slim and elegant. I'd have given five stars but the occasional ad in the system apps cheapens an otherwise premium experience.

My Oppo handset has a gorgeous display and the build quality feels premium for the price. The camera is solid in daylight. What holds me back from a higher rating is ColorOS — the bloatware and aggressive notifications took ages to tame, and a few preinstalled apps can't be removed.

The standout feature of my Oppo phone is the charging speed — going from nearly dead to full in around half an hour has changed how I use my phone. The cameras are good and the screen is lovely. Battery life over a full day is just okay, which is my one real gripe.

I'm really disappointed with the software support on my Oppo. The phone shipped with promises of regular updates but security patches dried up well before I expected, leaving me on an old build. For a device at this price, abandoning updates so quickly is unacceptable and I won't buy again.

Oppo nailed the mid-range with this one. The display is smooth at high refresh, the cameras punch above the price, and it looks more expensive than it is. The only thing I'd change is the speaker — it gets tinny at high volume. Otherwise a very happy customer.
