Firefox keeps the web open and competitive, and as a daily user I get a fast, private, endlessly tweakable browser in return. The enhanced tracking protection genuinely blocks the creepy stuff, extensions are plentiful, and Mozilla's stance on user rights is something I'm glad to support. Excellent all round.
Fast, private, strong values
Mozilla's Firefox has been my default for years and the regular updates keep it secure and snappy. I appreciate that a nonprofit is building it and that my data isn't the product. The sync across my devices works well; I just wish the mobile version felt a touch faster on older phones.
Trustworthy nonprofit, reliable sync
Mobile feels slow on older phones
I support Mozilla because Firefox is fast, independent, and not tied to a giant ad company. Container tabs let me keep work and personal accounts cleanly separated, and the reader mode is fantastic. My only small gripe is that the occasional extension I want is Chrome-only.
Independent, great container tabs and reader mode
Some extensions are Chrome-only
Firefox is the browser I keep coming back to because Mozilla actually puts privacy first as a nonprofit. The tracker blocking is strong out of the box and the customisation options are unmatched. It loses a star only because a few heavy sites still feel slightly slower than on Chromium browsers.
Strong privacy defaults, deeply customisable
Slightly slower on some heavy sites
I love what Mozilla stands for and Firefox delivers a clean, private browsing experience with handy features like Pocket and container tabs. It's stable and quick for the most part. The only reason it's not a full five is that it occasionally hangs when I have a huge number of tabs open.
Clean, private, useful built-in features
Occasional hangs with many tabs
