Memrise has made daily language practice something I look forward to. The spaced repetition is perfectly timed so words resurface just as I am about to forget them, and the speaking exercises with native audio are brilliant. My French vocabulary has exploded in a couple of months.

Memrise stands out because of the real native speaker videos showing words in everyday situations. The spaced repetition genuinely embeds vocabulary, and I am retaining far more Spanish than I did with flashcard apps. Fun, fast and effective every day.

Memrise has been a useful part of my routine, and the native speaker content remains its strong suit. That said, a recent redesign removed some community-created courses I relied on, and I am genuinely torn now. The core learning still works, but I miss the variety I used to have.

For building vocabulary, Memrise is excellent and the daily reviews keep words fresh in my memory. The native speaker clips add real-world context I appreciate. My one gripe is it does not teach grammar in much depth, so I pair it with another resource for that.

I have tried plenty of language apps and Memrise's spaced repetition combined with native speaker videos is in a league of its own for retention. Words actually stick because I see and hear them used naturally. Learning German has finally become enjoyable and sustainable. Five stars.
