The medical care at Mayo Clinic lived up to its reputation and the diagnosis I got after years elsewhere was finally clear. Where it got murky was the billing, navigating the charges and insurance coordination took several frustrating calls. Top-tier medicine, but the administrative side left me genuinely torn.

The clinical experience at Mayo Clinic was first rate and my surgeon and nurses were superb throughout recovery. The campus is enormous though, and as an out-of-town patient I found getting around and parking genuinely stressful on appointment days. Excellent medicine, just bring extra time for the logistics.
