We ran a few campaigns through Mailmodo and noticed our open rates sliding as more messages landed in promotions or spam. When I raised it, the guidance on warming up our sending domain felt generic and didn't move the needle quickly. The interactive features are nice, but email that doesn't reach the inbox isn't much use.
Deliverability issues, generic support guidance
Mailmodo's interactive AMP emails let us embed a form right inside the email and our response rates jumped compared to the old click-through-to-landing-page approach. The drag-and-drop builder is friendly for a non-technical marketer like me. Only minor gripe is that AMP doesn't render in every inbox, so we still need a fallback version.
Interactive AMP emails lift engagement
AMP not supported in all inboxes
Mailmodo made it easy to spin up an interactive email campaign with embedded forms in an afternoon, and the pre-built templates saved us real time. Reporting on form submissions inside the email is a nice touch. I'd just like more flexibility in the template styling to match our brand exactly.
Fast campaign setup, good templates
Limited template styling flexibility
We adopted Mailmodo mainly for the AMP-powered RSVP and feedback emails and it has delivered measurably better engagement than our old newsletter setup. The automation handles our welcome series reliably and support has been responsive. The minor downside is that the analytics export could be richer, but it hasn't held us back.
Better engagement, reliable automation
Analytics export could be richer
The interactive AMP concept Mailmodo is built around is genuinely clever and our quiz and cart emails get good engagement. On the other hand, the automation workflow editor feels limited compared to bigger email tools, and I've hit a few quirks building multi-step journeys. Promising, but I'm holding off on moving everything over.
