I tried Kajabi for my membership site but decided it was too pricey for my needs, and cancelling turned into a frustrating ordeal with billing continuing one cycle after I requested to stop. For a premium-priced platform I expected smoother offboarding. The product is capable, but the billing experience soured me.

Switching to Kajabi let me retire my separate email tool, course host and landing page builder, which simplified my whole digital product business. The templates got my course store live fast and look polished. My one gripe is that the email editor feels a little dated compared to dedicated email platforms, but it does the job.
Kajabi can run an entire digital products business, from selling courses to email automations, and once configured it works well. The trouble is the learning curve, it took me weeks to feel comfortable and the sheer number of settings is overwhelming. Mixed feelings: hugely capable but not the gentle start I wanted.
I can see why busy creators love Kajabi, the pipelines and automation features are powerful for selling memberships and courses at scale. For my small side project, though, I used maybe a third of what I was paying for. It is a solid platform, I am just genuinely unsure it fit my stage of business.

Replaces multiple tools, quick to launch
Email editor feels dated
Kajabi genuinely does combine courses, emails, landing pages and memberships in one place, which saved me juggling five tools. That said, the monthly cost is high and felt hard to justify when I was just starting out and not yet making sales. Powerful if you are established, but I am torn on the value for newer creators.
