I really value how affordable and connected Kaiser Permanente makes routine care, and the online appointment system is excellent. The one sticking point is specialist referrals, which sometimes take longer than I'd like to come through. For everyday primary care though, it's hard to beat the convenience and cost.

Within the Kaiser Permanente system everything is smooth and the coordinated care is excellent. The catch is the closed network, when I needed a specialist they didn't have in-house, the options got complicated and out-of-network care was a headache. Wonderful if your needs fit their system, limiting if they don't.

Having my insurance, primary doctor, labs and pharmacy all under Kaiser Permanente means everything is connected, my physician sees my test results instantly and prescriptions are ready before I leave. The app lets me message my doctor and book visits in seconds. For coordinated, hassle-free healthcare this model is fantastic.

Being able to do a video visit with my Kaiser Permanente doctor, get a prescription sent to the on-site pharmacy and pick it up the same day is exactly how healthcare should run. The records are all in one place and the nurses on the advice line are genuinely helpful at all hours. Highly recommend the model.

Kaiser Permanente's combined health-plan-and-hospital setup has been a revelation. My care team communicates with each other so I never repeat my history, the e-visits save me hours, and getting same-week specialist referrals has been smooth. The preventive care reminders have genuinely kept me on top of my health.
