Bought the V-Cross from Isuzu Motors India for weekend adventures and daily duty, and it does both well. The diesel is reliable, the 4x4 is genuinely useful off the tarmac, and it gets compliments everywhere. Minor gripe is the cabin plastics feel a bit dated for the price.
Tough, capable, eye-catching
Dated interior plastics
The Isuzu Motors India D-Max is a rugged truck and the load capacity is exactly what my farm needs. Problem is the nearest authorised service centre is over 80 km away, so even an oil change becomes a half-day trip. Disappointing for a vehicle pitched at rural buyers.
Strong load capacity
Very limited service centres
The mechanicals on my Isuzu have been faultless and the fuel efficiency for a pickup this size is respectable. The dealer experience, though, varies wildly. One visit was smooth and the next had me waiting hours with little communication. Hard to give a clean recommendation.
Faultless mechanicals, good efficiency
Inconsistent dealer service
Isuzu Motors India makes a durable diesel that just keeps going, and resale is decent. However the feature set lags behind newer rivals, with basic infotainment and few safety aids. If you want a dependable tool it works; if you want modern tech, look elsewhere.
Durable engine, decent resale
Outdated features
The Isuzu pickup has been mechanically bulletproof over three years, which I really value. On the flip side, the ride is firm and the turning radius makes city parking a chore. Great as a workhorse, less so as a comfortable daily driver. I am genuinely split on it.
Mechanically reliable
Firm ride, large turning radius
