Idealista is the first place anyone looking for property in Spain should go. The map view, price-drop indicators and saved alerts made my search in Madrid genuinely efficient. I set my filters once and let the notifications do the work. Outstanding portal.

I use Idealista across Italy and Spain and the breadth of listings is impressive. The frustrating part is the same flat posted by three different agencies at slightly different prices. Filtering through duplicates ate up a lot of my time.

Searching across Portugal on Idealista was straightforward and the neighbourhood filters helped me narrow things down fast. Photos were generally accurate. I just wish there were a way to flag listings with hidden agency commissions before contacting.

Renting in Italy through Idealista was mostly smooth and the messaging system kept everything in one place. Listings were detailed with good photos. The app sometimes felt sluggish loading map results, but nothing that put me off using it daily.

Idealista was essential for my apartment search in Valencia and the volume of listings is unmatched. That said, a lot of agencies were slow to reply or asked for fees that weren't clear upfront. The platform itself is good, the agents less so.
