What I appreciate about HelloFresh is the pre-portioned ingredients mean I'm not throwing out half a bunch of cilantro every week. The menu rotates enough that we don't get bored, and there are good veggie options. Wish the customization to swap proteins were cheaper, but overall very happy.

I was a total kitchen novice and HelloFresh taught me proper technique through clear, well-photographed steps. Six months in I'm confidently making dishes I'd never have attempted. The ingredients are consistently fresh, the flavors are restaurant-level, and pausing deliveries around my schedule is effortless. Couldn't recommend it more.
As a working parent, HelloFresh removed the what's-for-dinner stress. The recipes take roughly the 30 minutes they claim and my kids actually eat them. Skipping weeks when we travel is easy in the app. The only minor annoyance is the amount of packaging each box comes with.
HelloFresh has gotten us cooking real meals on weeknights instead of ordering takeout, and the recipe cards are genuinely easy to follow. Ingredients arrive fresh and well chilled. My only complaint is the protein portions sometimes feel light for two hungry adults, so we add a side.

My last two HelloFresh deliveries showed up with the ice packs fully melted and the chicken barely cool, which I'm not comfortable cooking. The bell peppers were also bruised and leaking. For a meal-kit that charges a premium, getting the cold chain right is the bare minimum and it's failed twice now.
