It took switching tutors once, but our second GoStudent tutor for German has been excellent and very encouraging. The recorded sessions are handy for revision later. I just wish the initial matching had got it right the first time so we did not lose a couple of weeks.

My son's maths tutor on GoStudent has been patient and really knows the curriculum, and his confidence has grown over a few months. The video classroom works well and lessons are easy to follow. My only gripe is rescheduling sessions on the app can be fiddly when the tutor has limited slots.

We have used GoStudent for my daughter's physics for a term now and the consistency really helps. The tutor sets little goals each week and the progress reports keep us informed. The price feels a touch high, but the quality of teaching mostly justifies it.

Brilliant one-to-one teaching, real grade improvement
I signed up for a trial lesson with GoStudent and somehow ended up in a 12-month commitment that is nearly impossible to cancel. When my daughter's grades did not improve I asked to stop, and they kept billing me and pointed to the small print. The hard sell from the consultant before signing was relentless and I regret the whole thing.
