I did my homework before choosing Geely and it has paid off completely. The cabin is whisper quiet, the hybrid drivetrain sips fuel, and the warranty gave me real peace of mind. Considering what comparable European cars cost, this felt like a genuine bargain that does not feel cheap anywhere.
Refined, efficient hybrid, strong warranty
Geely has clearly invested in design and software, and it shows in everyday use. The connected app works well and over-the-air updates have actually improved the car since I bought it. Slightly annoying that some menu translations still read a little awkwardly, but it is a small thing.
Good software and OTA updates
A few rough menu translations
People underestimate Geely because they think of it as just a Chinese badge, but owning Volvo, Polestar and Lotus shows how serious they are. My Geely-built saloon has been faultless for two years, the fit and finish rivals far pricier brands, and the tech feels a generation ahead. Genuinely impressed with the engineering depth across the group.
Outstanding build quality, advanced tech, strong group backing
Really happy with the value Geely offers compared to legacy brands. The car drives smoothly and the safety kit is generous straight out of the box. My only gripe is that the service network in my region is still small, so booking maintenance takes a bit of planning.
Excellent equipment for the money
Limited service centres locally
On one hand the Geely car itself is excellent value with loads of features and a comfortable ride. On the other, as a relatively new brand in my market I worry about resale value and parts five years down the line. Genuinely torn because the product is strong but the ownership confidence is not there yet.
Feature-packed and comfortable
Unproven resale and long-term parts
