Gearbox absolutely nailed the loot-shooter formula again. The gunplay in Borderlands 3 feels punchy, the writing made me laugh out loud, and split-screen co-op with my brother has given us hundreds of hours. Easily one of my favourite studios.

Gearbox clearly knows how to make a satisfying shooter and Borderlands proves it every time. The DLC has been worth the money and the world keeps expanding. I would just love to see the studio take a swing at something beyond the franchise.
Gearbox games are my go-to when friends come over. The Borderlands series runs the gauntlet of humour and action better than most. Knocked off a star because the menus feel a bit cluttered, but the core experience is solid.

As a long-time Borderlands fan I really appreciate how much personality Gearbox packs into every game. The billion-guns gimmick never gets old for me. My only gripe is that some bugs lingered a while before fixes landed.

I have replayed the Borderlands campaigns more times than I can count and Gearbox keeps the loot loop addictive every single run. The art style holds up beautifully and the boss fights are genuinely memorable. Top-tier developer.
