Stepped up to a Fujifilm medium format body for my landscape work and the resolution is jaw-dropping. The detail I can pull from shadows in post is unreal, and the build feels premium in every way. Easily the best image quality I've ever produced.
Incredible resolution and detail
I love the design and image quality of my Fujifilm, but the lens ecosystem has gotten expensive and stock is hard to find locally. The body itself is a joy to handle and the colours are unmatched. I'm just torn on whether to keep investing in the system.
Lovely colours and handling
Pricey, hard-to-find lenses
My Fujifilm X-series body is just fun to use, and the Classic Chrome simulation gives me JPEGs I rarely need to edit. The retro dials make adjusting settings tactile and quick. Only downside is battery life drains faster than I'd like on long days.
Gorgeous film simulations, tactile dials
Modest battery life
The compact Fujifilm body is discreet and the leaf shutter is whisper quiet for candid street work in busy markets. Autofocus is quick enough for my needs and image files have real character. I just wish the buffer cleared a touch faster in burst mode.
Discreet, quiet, characterful files
Buffer clears slowly in bursts
We gifted a Fujifilm Instax for a family wedding and it was the hit of the night. Everyone loved getting a physical print in seconds, and the prints have held their colour beautifully months later. So simple even my grandparents used it.
Instant prints, dead simple to use
