Fidelity has been the backbone of my retirement planning and the experience is excellent across the board. The zero-expense-ratio index funds, commission-free trades and genuinely helpful planning tools make it easy to stay the course. Whenever I've called, the reps actually understood my situation. I can't recommend it enough for serious long-term investors.

Fidelity froze trading on my account over a verification issue and resolving it meant repeated calls and re-submitting documents while the market moved without me.
