Embracer Group has pulled together an astonishing collection of studios and franchises I grew up with. Seeing them invest in classic IP and revive series I thought were dead has been genuinely exciting as a long-time fan. The breadth of what they own is staggering.
Massive portfolio, reviving classic franchises
Embracer owns some of my favourite developers and the games keep coming, which I appreciate. The one gripe I have is that corporate restructuring news can be confusing for fans trying to follow which studio is making what. Otherwise a solid steward of great IP.

I have a lot of respect for how Embracer Group preserves and revives older franchises that would otherwise be forgotten. The Swedish holding company clearly values gaming history, and the steady stream of releases across their studios proves it. A great home for classic IP.

Embracer's portfolio is genuinely impressive and a few of their studios make games I adore. At the same time, the sheer scale of acquisitions has led to studio closures and cancelled projects that hurt to watch. I am rooting for them but the volatility makes me cautious as a fan.
