We have had our Chery for eight months and it has been a comfortable, roomy family hauler with great air-con for our climate. The warranty was a big reason we chose it and the dealer experience was smooth. Only small gripe is the auto gearbox can hesitate slightly when pulling away.

Chery has clearly improved a lot and the car drives nicely for the money. The catch is the infotainment, which froze a couple of times and needed a restart, and the voice assistant rarely understands me. Torn because the hardware is solid but the software lets it down.

Chery gives you a lot of car for the money, with features like a panoramic roof and 360 camera that cost a fortune elsewhere. It has been dependable on my daily commute and is cheap to run. The only thing I would change is the slightly artificial steering feel.
