The BYD Seal is hands down the best value electric car I have driven. Acceleration is strong, the ride is composed, and the Blade battery gives me real confidence on long trips. Charging at public points has been smooth and the efficiency means my electricity bill barely moved. Couldn't be happier.

The BYD itself is impressive value and the electric drivetrain is smooth and cheap to run. Where I am genuinely torn is the after-sales side, because booking a service slot took weeks and the centre was clearly overwhelmed by how fast the brand has grown. Great product held back by stretched support.

BYD offers incredible bang for the buck and the build quality genuinely surprised me for the price. The car is smooth, quiet and the safety rating is reassuring for the family. My only minor gripe is the rotating touchscreen is a gimmick I never actually use.

I was sceptical about a Chinese EV but the BYD Atto 3 has been outstanding. The Blade battery delivers the claimed range honestly, charging has been hassle-free, and the running costs are a fraction of my old petrol car. The cabin design is funky and everything just works, two years in with zero issues.

As an electric SUV the BYD ticks nearly every box, with loads of space, a comfy ride and genuinely low charging costs. It has been faultless mechanically. The companion app is my only frustration, as it sometimes loses connection and is slow to show charge status.
