My Continental GT feels like a proper Bentley should: hand-stitched leather, that effortless W12 surge, and a cabin so quiet on the motorway you forget how fast you're going. Only gripe is the infotainment lags a touch behind newer rivals. Otherwise it's everything I hoped for.

Genuinely torn on my Bentayga. The build quality and presence are unmatched and it draws compliments everywhere. But servicing intervals at the dealer cost a small fortune and tyre wear is brutal. Love it, but it's not a relationship for the faint of wallet.

Bentley still knows how to make you feel special. The Bentayga's interior smells and feels like money well spent, and the V8 is a gem. My only minor complaint is the boot is smaller than I expected for an SUV of this size. Still thrilled with it.

Driving the Continental is a special occasion every time and I can't fault the engineering. But my experience at the showroom has been hit and miss, one visit excellent, the next slow to respond to a warranty query. For this money I expect consistency throughout.

The Flying Spur itself is sublime, no question, the wood veneer and ride comfort are world class. What lets the experience down is the ordering process. My bespoke spec took far longer to arrive than quoted and updates from the dealer were thin. Mixed feelings overall.
