Our architecture firm runs on AutoCAD and it handles our most complex drawings without hiccups. The precision tools and the sheer compatibility with consultants make collaboration painless. My only gripe is the subscription cost keeps creeping up each renewal, which stings for a small practice.

We produce character animation and Maya from Autodesk gives us the rigging, simulation and rendering depth nothing else matches at this level. The learning curve paid off and the tools scale to feature work. Support for our enterprise licence has been responsive too. Excellent professional software.
Deep toolset, scales to pro work
There's no denying Autodesk makes capable software, and our team gets real work done in it. But moving everything to subscription means we pay forever and lose access the moment we stop. For occasional users the value is genuinely questionable. Torn between the quality and the cost.

Autodesk's design suite covers everything we need from CAD to rendering, and the results are professional. The flip side is the software is resource hungry and our mid-range workstations chug on large assemblies. Mixed experience: brilliant capability, but you must invest in serious hardware to enjoy it.

AutoCAD and Fusion are excellent engineering tools and I rely on them daily for mechanical design. Happy with the software itself, but the Autodesk account and licensing portal is a maze and activating on a new machine took far too long. Great products, frustrating administration.
